Collection: Hair Bonnets

Our Adire Silk-Lined Hair Bonnets are handcrafted using authentic African Adire prints and fully lined with smooth plain silk, offering both cultural appeal and hair-protective function for everyday wear.

Each bonnet is produced using carefully selected Adire fabrics, including Adire Cotton, Adire Crepe, and Adire Silk, paired with a silk interior designed to reduce friction, retain moisture, and help prevent breakage. This makes the bonnets suitable for natural, relaxed, and protective hairstyles.

The breathable Adire outer layer delivers uniqueness, cultural expression, visual impact, and durability, while the silk lining helps preserve hairstyles, minimize frizz, and support healthy hair care for day and night use. Each piece combines functionality with strong shelf appeal, making it ideal for retail and salon environments.

Every bonnet is thoughtfully handcrafted.

What Is Adire? (For Retail Education)

Adire is a traditional African resist-dyed textile originating from southwestern Nigeria and created by the Yoruba people. The term Adire means “tie and dye,” referring to the intricate hand-dyeing techniques used to produce its distinctive patterns.

Artisans apply methods such as tying, stitching, folding, or wax resist before dyeing the fabric. These techniques allow sections of the cloth to resist dye, resulting in unique motifs once completed. While historically dyed with indigo, modern Adire is produced in a wide range of colors while maintaining its handcrafted identity.

Because of its handmade process, no two Adire fabrics are exactly the same, offering retailers a product that feels exclusive, culturally rich, and visually distinctive.
